I DID IT!!

Yes, I finished the marathon, only 13 miles but what an amazing time I had.  I know it helped to have 3 amazing friends with me.  We sang Christmas carols, laughed and believe me at times you don't feel like laughing.  It was a cold wet day in Dallas, only in the low forties.  It rained constantly and some people were treated for hypothermia.  We survived and 3 hours and 30 minutes later we were done.  What a thrill to jog over the finish line and get my medal.  I may do it again!!!  Not bad for a 60 year old lady.
